BISTU Unmanned Airborne Vehicle Association Won Series of Awarded in National Contests

A model-make team sent by School of Electromechanical Engineering to Tsingdao attended 2013 National Aeronautics and Astronautics Model Contest, the most authoritative contest with highest level in the field. BISTU team won one gold and two silvers.
This contest was sponsored by Radio Model Management Center of General Administration of Sport of China, Tsingdao Bureau of Sport and Jiaozhou City. In all 44 items were designed for 236 competitors of 23 teams from 21 provinces of China.
In addition, BISTU Unmanned Airborne Vehicle Association sent another team---Dream with Wings--- to attend AVIC (Aviation Industry Corporation of China) Cup the 2nd International Unmanned Airborne Vehicle Innovation Grand Prix and was awarded “Excellence for Innovation”.
The Every-two-year AVIC Cup International Unmanned Airborne Vehicle Innovation Grand Prix was approved by China Association for Science and Technology and sponsored by AVIC and Chinese Society of Aeronautics and Astronautics. It aims at promote innovation in the field of Aeronautics and Astronautics science and technology.
