Robot Competition Receiving Wide Media Coverage

Robot Competition of North-China 5 Provinces was hosted by BISTU from 2nd to 3rd November 2013. This grand event was covered by a variety of influential media, including Beijing TV, Beijing Morning Post, and The Mirror (Fa Zhi Wan Bao). On 3rd November, a 1’46’’ feature report at Beijing TV showed BISTU robots dancing with Kangnam Style. Prof. Xu Baojie, Vice President of BISTU and the students accepted the interviewed and introduced technological issues regarding this competition. The Mirror published a report Combat Between Robots vs Competition Between Universities. And Beijing Morning Post described this event as Robots Stride Across Time and Space. Influential portals like Sina and iFeng also covered this competition.
